Part time Post (21 hours per week)

Temp cover for 6 months

Salary: £24,500 per annum

 

The post holder will work within the adult team at Basis, providing access to group work, peer support and co-production activities designed to empower and enable women to access services. The Adult Worker will be designing creative and dynamic programme of activities with women from across the sex industry in order to tackle stigma and discrimination and increase opportunities for access to services.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of women, can embrace our core values of respect and trust and will support us in providing a unique service through their creative approach.

You will need to have:

  • A passion for empowering and enabling women within a rights based approach
  • Experience of building and managing successful relationships with external organisations to address barriers
  • Relevant experience of co-production and designing creative programmes of activities.
  • An ability to thrive in an environment that is often challenging with a high level of confidence in managing boundaries and confidentiality.

You will be based in the Leeds area and may need to work unsocial hours.
