An exciting opportunity has arisen for a key individual to join Basis Yorkshire in partnership with MESMAC. The CSE project in Hull is a subcontracted piece of work sitting within Yorkshire MEMSAC’s Sexual Health Prevention Service. This role will be embedded in their young person’s outreach team to support staff, professionals and service users.

We are looking to appoint:-
Young People’s CSE Outreach Worker
Part time Post (17.5 hours per week)
Salary: £24,500 per annum pro rata

You’ll be working out of Yorkshire MESMAC’s office in Hull as well as meeting young people in community settings, flexibly providing services that they need, where they want them.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people, can embrace our core values of respect and trust and will support us in providing a unique service through their creative approach.
You will need to have:
- A passion for empowering and enabling young people
- Experience of building and managing successful relationships with external organisations to effectively support young people
- Relevant experience working directly with young people who may be at significant risk of harm.
- An ability to thrive in an environment that is often challenging and pressurised.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and use of car.
You will be based in Hull with travel to our Leeds office at times (monthly) and may need to work unsocial hours.
