Basis is looking to appoint an Income Generation and Comms Administrative Assistant who can support the organisation in delivering a wider impact through communication (social media, newsletters etc) and income generation (including through training and fundraising).  You will be curious, highly motivated and take a creative approach to ensuring Basis is able to achieve its objectives for women and young people. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager as well as the trainers and/or frontline staff to ensure our communication and training materials meets the clients and organisational needs, are of the highest professional standard as well as ensuring relevant administration is kept up to date.  

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, understands how to respond professionally to enquiries about our service, is organised, can plan ahead, meet deadlines and is self-motivated.  Applicants will be also be assessed on their values including a non-judgemental and compassionate approach to sex work and women and young people who are sexually exploited.

Salary: £19241 (FTE) pro rata – 21 hours/week

Contract Length: 7 months (potential to extend to be confirmed by end 2021)

You will be based in Leeds (with some in-office work as well as home work  COVID-19 dependent) and may need to work unsocial hours.

Basis is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk. This post will be subject to enhanced DBS check.
