Basis Yorkshire is a medium sized charity that was founded in 1995 and now operates in different areas of Yorkshire as well. This is a unique opportunity to join a challenging and vibrant organisation, working with women in the sex industry and women and young people who are being sexually exploited. We are looking to appoint:

Project Assistant 21 hours/week (12 months) OR 30 hours/week (9 months). (1200 hours)

Please note this role is open to University of Leeds Year 2 students (going into Year 3) who identify as women. 

This role reports to the Business Development and Marketing Manager but also supports both Basis Young People and Basis Sex Work project. The support role includes with awareness raising, marketing and communications, research, logistical and/or administrative support as well as direct support to service delivery with women in the sex industry and women and young people who experience sexual exploitation. It presents a unique learning experience with substantial access to training opportunities during your time with Basis.
