Caz Field (she/her)

Housing First Support Worker since Feb 2020

My role

My role involves supporting a small caseload of women with complex and multiple needs, using the Housing First approach to find them a safe and stable home in an area of their choice. In collaboration with Turning Lives Around, we offer unconditional, intensive support from a person-centred approach to women who may otherwise be missed by other existing services.

My background

Having worked as a Support Worker for St George’s Crypt for the past couple of years, I have gained much experience supporting some of the most vulnerable people in Leeds. In this role I offered client-led support to people presenting with a range of issues from homelessness/being vulnerably housed to mental health, substance misuse, a history of offending, domestic violence and abuse. I have also been practicing as a Trauma Informed Counsellor for the past eighteen months at the Together Women Project.

A little bit personal about me

I am from Leeds originally, have roamed around a little but am happy to say I found my way home. I love to cook and spend time with friends & family so often try to combine the two. I also love to travel but have so much of the world left to see. In my downtime I am often found hiding away in my pjs with a good book or trying out local restaurants with my partner.
