Eloise Staves (she/her)

Outreach Support Worker since April 2020

My role

I am currently working as an Outreach Support Worker at Basis Yorkshire. My role is to provide both emotional and practical support to women with multiple and complex needs. I work 1:1 with women and offer intensive support which prioritises their safety and wellbeing. My role relies on multi-agency partnerships and I ensure women have access to any services relevant to their needs, supporting them effectively throughout.

My background

Prior to working at Basis I studied Criminology at Nottingham Trent University and then went on to study my Masters in Criminology at Leeds Beckett. Throughout my time at university I was able to volunteer and carry out placements with multiple charities across the third sector. These experiences shaped my interest and lead me to want to work with vulnerable women specifically.

A little bit personal about me

In my spare time I enjoy keeping healthy and active which balances out my love for food and cooking nicely!
