Gemma Ahearne

Trustee

My role

I have a broad role as a Trustee.

My background

I lecture in Criminology at the University of Liverpool where I lead a specialist module Crime, Justice and the Sex Industry. I have been involved in sex work research since 2002. My Ph.D centred around the experiences of sex workers in prison and was awarded by Leeds Beckett University.

A little bit personal about me

I have 5 rescue dogs and love spending as much time as possible with my family and friends. I love yoga, swimming, walking, eating and writing.
