What I do
I work in both the Leeds and York offices and my job is to ensure the smooth running of the offices and to assist my colleagues as and when required. This can mean anything from answering the phone and responding to online queries, to ordering office supplies, to minute taking; through to dealing with suppliers, booking training sessions, hotels, train tickets, and preparing training packs; to assisting with the recruitment process and producing reports necessary for monitoring and evaluation purposes. I am also a Fire Warden and a First Aider.
What I did before
I am originally from Poland. I moved to England in 2006 and I have worked in various roles since then: a warehouse operative, supervisor of a customer services department running a small call centre, and a project coordinator for a market research agency.
I have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Salford and I volunteer at the WomenCentre in Huddersfield as a counsellor.
A little bit about me
I love travelling and going to music gigs, although working and studying at the same time doesn’t leave me with much time to go away as often as I’d like. I try to spend weekends keeping active and try to find new places to visit in beautiful Yorkshire.
