Our heritage and grassroots work provides a unique foundation for providing effective and relevant services within current social issues.
Our team are all experienced, skilled frontline practitioners who are passionate about ensuring the voices of young people and women feature strongly throughout all our work.
We understand that every organisation is different. Whether you’re from the social services, the police, a healthcare organisation, a charity or a school, our friendly team will work closely with you to understand your requirements. Every service we offer is therefore designed to address your unique challenges and specific needs, allowing the flexibility to meet your budget and timescales.
The income generated from our training is reinvested into our frontline charitable work, supporting young people at risk of CSE and women working in the sex industry in Leeds.

Child Friendly Leeds
Basis Training is proud to be a partner in child friendly Leeds. We want Leeds to be the best place to grow up in the whole of the UK. To help make this happen, the city is bringing schools, businesses, voluntary organisations, families and individuals together to make Leeds a child friendly city. In a child friendly Leeds, children and young people are valued, supported, enjoy growing up, and look forward to a bright future. Children and young people’s views are listened to and acted on, and they can make a difference in their school, their community and the city as a whole.
