Salary: £25,339 (pro-rata)
Hours: 24 hours/week (term time hours only is a possibility, hours to change if so)
Term of contract: 10 months from start date
Basis are looking to develop and deliver a group work programme to Children and Young People deemed to be at low/emerging risk of Exploitation and Abuse. The post-holder will take a lead on developing a programme of sessions that can be delivered in both upper-primary and secondary education settings, working with the Basis Young People Team to develop the sessions and in establishing relationships with schools in which the sessions can be delivered. The post-holder will deliver said group sessions in schools with the support of a volunteer or member of school staff.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of vulnerable young women and children, can embrace our core values of respect and trust and will support us in providing a unique service through their creative approach.
You will be based in the Leeds area and may need to work unsocial hours and need to have access to a car and valid driving licence.
