My role

As a Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Specialist (Girls in Gangs) I work 1:1 with girls who are being, or who have been, sexually exploited in relation to gang involvement. By establishing a positive relationship through trauma informed practice, I aim to raise their awareness of the risks they are facing and how to reduce these through talking to them about CSE and related issues such as grooming, county lines, health relationships, sexual health etc. I previously worked as a trauma practitioner working with looked after children.
