My role

My role is to generate income to fund the needs of the people we support, either on our own or through partnerships. I also coordinate our organisational advocacy for improved policy, practice and resources for the communities we support. I help Basis raise awareness of issues affecting those we support and the organisation on social media, our website, newsletter and other communication means. 

My background

My experience prior to Basis includes many years in relationship and business development in the private sector followed by a similar amount of years in the international development sector, both in business development of training and consultancy as well as program management, fundraising and advocacy for a charity supporting street children facing violence and abuse at home and on the streets.

I love travelling, going camping, doing crosswords, listening to music and spending time with my family and friends.
