My role

I support the parents of children getting support from Basis as part of working with the family in mind. The work involves liaison and advocacy support for parents of neurodivergent children on a 1 to 1 basis to support them to help their child. I can support parents in preparing for social care meetings and use a strength -based trauma informed approach. Encouraging a safe empowering environment to support communication between services and parents. I deliver Child Sexual Exploitation sessions to both parents and schools to support raising awareness and increasing knowledge.
