My role

As Finance Manager I am responsible for the finance function at Basis Yorkshire. My biggest tasks are ensuring accurate information is given to internal and external stakeholders, preparing and adhering to budgets, forecasting future financial scenarios and keeping us financially compliant with UK GAAP & Charity SORP. 

My background

I have 10 years experience working in the private sector and not-for-profit organisations. In that time, I also founded and ran a small accountancy practice. My key skills are attention to processes and systems, maximising value for money, and communication of data.

Outside of work I am happiest when I'm at home with my wife, kids & dog watching the football on a Sunday afternoon...happy place!
