Swimmers are back for round three of our Great North Swim for Genesis between 12-14th June – with a new and improved team of staff and supporters taking on greater personal challenges to complete a combined swim distance of 9 miles! This is quite a bit further than our 2014 distance so we are hoping to manage to beat last year’s fundraising efforts of £1500 too.
Amber will be braving Windermere for the first time to swim a mile. Caz is doubling her distance (to nearly match the number of wetsuits she has) and is doing 2 miles, and Kate and Nick are going the full 3 miles this year. Our supporters will also be completing their accompanying crepe challenge, where they try to eat as many sweet or savory pancakes as they can whilst we are in the water!

In an environment which is increasingly difficult for smaller charities, funding struggles continue for Genesis and we really appreciate any support you might be willing to pledge.
