Currently, we have to talk to the women outside, there is nowhere private to have a confidential conversation or give advice about health, substance abuse, housing, domestic violence etc., or even just somewhere warm or safe to have some food – whereas a van would allow the team to engage in a more in-depth way with the women, with a greater chance of a positive outcome for the issues they are facing.
