Current Sex Work in Leeds: Knowledge Sharing
Friday 12th December 2014
Centenary Gallery, Parkinson Building, University of Leeds
Care-Connect is pleased to be able to host the Current Sex Work Knowledge Sharing Event. This is a free event organised by the Yorkshire Academic Sex Work Consortium. The event will facilitate knowledge sharing of academic findings between researchers involved in current sex work research and evaluation projects with practitioners working directly with sex workers in Leeds. The objectives of this event are to bridge the gaps in knowledge about the nature and characteristics of the local sex industry and showcase some of the high standard of research conducted to support the sex work support project Genesis. The programme includes good practice dissemination on male sex work and migrant sex work from practitioner experts.
Genesis is delighted to be involved with this event, with both Rosie, our CEO and Emily Turner, our Adult Outreach Worker talking on the day. For more information, please click here. Places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment!
